I purchased six of these filters. They are sealed in plastic eggs. I used my dremel to open it. Vacuum repacked them using a food vacuum sealer so the filter will remain fresh until I would need to use them and can open them quickly. Hope this information may help anyone that may be thinking of purchasing them.
