Extra large buckle-down rain flap and a heavy-leather reinforced bottom. Height of this pack can be extended up to 32" H or 20" H, with two drawstring closures.

what a pack!just blown away by the size and quality. Its not for the candy ass. its heavy its rugged and its built to last.the best part 42.00 delivered.a commercial clone of this pack could easily sell for 5 times the price and you would still only get half the quality. kick ass pack!rmeagle71@yahoo.com

Also known as the 'Thunderclap' pack, this monster is the most ruggedly-built piece of carrying equipment you can imagine. Probably no amount of use could ever wear it out. With its strong internal frame, it's too heavy for hiking, unless you're a gorilla. Beautifully constructed with heavy rubberized nylon packcloth, thick leather straps, and heavy aluminum hardware. We'll never see quality like this again.

Incredibly rugged and completely rain/snow/stormproof. Lots of carrying capacity. Designed to be narrow and tall when fully loaded. Heavy. Nice padded shoulder straps, but it lacks a waist belt.

Pure military functionality. Originally designed for Uruk-hai soldiers, judging from the weight and durability.
