This is the tallest of theSwiss Army Salt and Pepper Rucksacks(backpacks), it measures 27 x 16 x 8", front pouch is 9 x 11 x 2. These rucksacks are made of an unusually strong canvas that has a salt-and-pepper look to it. Leather shoulder straps and tie-downs. Heavy-leather reinforced bottom. Top duffel like rope closure. Excellent Swiss military craftsmanship.
