Don't take any "flak" about this
collectible: the used British Flak Vest!
Flak jackets were first used in WWII by gunners in the Army Air Corps to protect
from flying shrapnel. The originals were made with steel plates sewn on the inside
and were too heavy for ground troops. Back then, they weren't considered bulletproof.
Neither is this one. This novelty item is made for ground maneuvers that don't
see any action. It's made of heavy-duty Cordura nylon with ballistic material
on the inside to protect from shrapnel. Velcro closure front and 2 Velcro closure
front storage pockets. Side lace loops for an adjustable fit.
Condition: used, in good shape.
